Course Overview

  • To be eligible for enrolment in this CRICOS-registered course, applicants must meet the following entry requirements:

     

    • Be 18 years of age or more when commencing the course

    • IELTS overall 5.5 (or equivalent) or a minimum Year 12 Certificate (or equivalent).

     

    Applicants who cannot provide both IELTS overall 5.5 (or equivalent) or a minimum of a Year 12 will be required to undertake a Language, Literacy, Numeracy assessment and Digital (LLND) prior to receiving an offer.

  • Total number of units = 12

    • 6 core units plus

    • 6 elective units

    Elective units have been pre-selected by KOIC to reflect current industry practices and ensure graduates develop practical, job-ready skills aligned with employer expectations. The selected electives complement the core units to provide a well-rounded qualification that balances foundational knowledge with specialised competencies.

  • This qualification is delivered over a 12-month period (52 weeks total), comprising:

     

    • 36 weeks of face-to-face and/or online training and assessment, and

    • 16 weeks of scheduled holiday breaks.

     

    This structure provides students with balanced study time and structured term breaks across the academic year.

  • This course is delivered in a blended mode of study, combining scheduled face-to-face classes, structured online learning and independent study.

     

    Students are required to undertake:

     

    • 16 hours per week of scheduled face-to-face classes (delivered across two days)

    • 4 hours per week of scheduled online classes

    • 4 hours per week of structured self-directed study

     

    This equates to 24 hours per week of full-time study, in line with CRICOS requirements for international students.

  • The total tuition fee for this course is $8,000 AUD.

     

    This fee includes all training and assessment services required to complete the qualification. A detailed breakdown of tuition fees, non-tuition fees (if applicable), payment schedules, and refund conditions is outlined in the Schedule of Fees and Charges.

     

    KOIC manages all student fees in accordance with the Fees Management and Refund Policy & Procedure and the Tuition Protection Service (TPS) Policy & Procedure.
